Voluntary Organizations
- Implementing Holistic Village Development activities in under privileged villages through BeVu Foundation as the CEO (2013 – Current).
- Identify, Nurture and Train kids in Classical Indian Dance in the Bevu Foundation adopted villages (2013 – Current).
- Yamuna has served as the President of Houston Kannada Vrinda (2008 -2010).
- Has served Houston Kannada Vrinda as the Vice President (2006-2008)
- Served as the Cultural Committee Co-Chair for the hugely successful World Millennium Kannada conference held in Houston in 2000
- Commended for her Excellency in serving as Cultural Chairperson for VPA’s National convention held in Houston in 2009.
Charitable Contributions
- ROPE(Organized Rural Outreach Program)– This was completely planned and funded by Bevu Foundation. Ms. Yamuna Srinidhi is the CEO of Bevu Foundation. Students from North Western University of Illinois, USA had taken an active part & carried out holistic development in the village of Hanumanthapura, in ChennarayapatnaTaluk.
- HIV+ awareness – Eye opening and educative performances in Houston High schools & colleges.
- ‘Say No to Drugs’ - Performances for High school students
- Fund Raising for the Gujarat Earth quake, Tsunami & Hurricane Katrina Victims - Houston, Dallas & Austin.
- Regular participation and performances at The Worldwide leading charitable organization United Way fund raising events
- Fund raising performance for ISKCON temple in Houston
- Voluntary performances at Old age homes
- Performances at the Texas Children’s hospital & MD Anderson Cancer hospital
- Conducted a workshop on corporate stress management through basic dance techniques for Houston Shell corporation
- Invite to conduct a Indian classical dance workshop at Houston Community college
- Dedicated the center’s 8th anniversary for the fund raising for Hurricane IKE victims which had damaged severely the city of Pasadena Texas.
- Conducted a workshop in Houston for visually impaired artists visiting from Bangalore, India
- Voluntarily travelled across USA searching & training 200 + non dancers & coordinating a mega Kannada Production ‘Karunada Koduge’ for 6th World Kannada Convention held in New Jersey 2010.
- Voluntarily Trained Kannadigas across USA for NAVIKA’s ‘Amerikannadothsava’ to present a Kannada dance production ‘Naavu Vishwa Kannadigaru’ held in Bangalore.
